About Bio-Check UK

090413_004.jpgBio-Check (UK) was founded by Phil. Goodwin in 2004 and operates from a modern, dedicated facility in the city of St. Asaph, North Wales.

The majority of our customers are from the food and drink industry - a sector under the spotlight as never before. As such, the role testing plays in ensuring the safety and validity of consumer products is more vital than ever.

Bio-Check (UK) is dedicated to meeting those ever-growing needs and demands of our customers. We guarantee the quality of the products and services we provide, more mindful than ever of the increasing pressure on our food producers and the laboratory services on which they depend. Bio-Check's Quality Management System is in accordance with IS0 9001 for development and manufacture of test kits for the detection of contaminants and adulterants in food products.

Bio-Check (UK) founder Phil Goodwin and his team have many decades of experience in the field of in vitro diagnostic testing for medical diagnostics and research, pharmaceutical analysis and food testing applications. They have been responsible for the commercialisation of many immunoassays and other diagnostic techniques, including food allergy diagnostics, detection of allergens, wheat gluten, mycotoxins and meat species adulteration detection in food.

Bio-Check (UK) sees the extra demands on the food and drink industry as a challenge and an opportunity; a challenge to find the best methods needed to maintain a reliable and transparent food chain, and an opportunity to reaffirm the UK’s food and drink industry as the world’s best.

If you share this aim and are interested in our laboratory and on-site test kits, analysis, training and consultancy services we would like to hear from you.
