Ochratoxin A ELISA
Ochratoxin A is produced by fungi that infect crops, often in conditions of high moisture and temperature during storage. The major human (and animal) bioburden comes from the ingestion of contaminated cereal grains.
The Helica Ochratoxin ELISA is simple to use, cost effective and has high levels of accuracy and reproducibility. It has a limit of detection of less than 1 part per billion (ppb) with a detection range of 1 - 150 ppb. The test works with a single dilution step and simple solvent extractions; it can be completed within 30 minutes. The kit design lends itself to versatility, ranging from manual testing of a few samples to a high throughput automated format suitable for testing hundreds of samples.
