Mycotoxins|On-site Test Kits|Aflatoxins strips

Choose from three test strip options:

AflaCheck™
AflaCheck™ is a qualitative one-step test kit for the detection of aflatoxin. It uses highly specific reactions between antibodies and aflatoxin to detect aflatoxin in a variety of samples. The test strips can be used to detect the presence of aflatoxin at two different cutoff levels: 10 ppb or 20 ppb, depending on the protocol followed.

 Afla-V™
These tests utilise the proven sensitivity and selectivity of VICAM's monoclonal antibodies to accurately detect and measure total aflatoxins B1, B2, G1, and G2 at levels less than 2 ppb and as high as 100 ppb. The single dilution sample preparation procedure saves time and materials, and the test takes 5 minutes* to develop. Digital readings are clearly displayed on the screen of the Vertu™ Lateral Flow Reader, eliminating any guesswork about the results.

 Afla M1-V™

VICAM’s new Afla M1-V™ quantitative strip tests answer the need for a user-friendly lateral flow strip test for aflatoxin M1 in dairy products – providing precise results in just minutes. Aflatoxin M1 is the metabolic by product created when a dairy cow ingests feed that contains aflatoxin B1. Aflatoxin M1 is a Group 2B (probable) carcinogen according to the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), resulting in strict legislation governing maximum allowable limits for human consumption. The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) enforces a maximum limit for aflatoxin M 1 at 0.5 parts per billion (ppb), while the European Community sets their regulatory limit for aflatoxin M1 at 0.05 ppb, with a lower limit of 0.025 ppb in place for those dairy items intended for infants and children. Afla M1-V test strips utilize the proven sensitivity and selectivity of VICAM’s monoclonal antibodies to accurately measure aflatoxin M1 at levels as low as 25 ppt and as high as 750 ppt. The single filtration sample preparation saves time while minimizing consumables, reagent use and eliminating the need for a centrifuge. The test requires only 12 minutes to develop and digital results are displayed on the Vertu Lateral Flow reader – with optional printing and data transfer to a computer. Afla M1-V is revolutionizing the way aflatoxin M1 is managed at the plant by delivering fast, precise results to dairy producers worldwide.
