Food Allergen Workshop
The University of Wrexham hosted a Food Allergen Management workshop on 17 March 2026 for local catering organisations, commercial and public sector (e.g. for schools). It was chaired by Isabella Nyambayo, Senior Lecturer in Food Science and Human Nutrition, and was well attended. Bio-Check’s Adrian Rogers and Richard Fielder discussed cleaning as a control measure and the effectiveness of allergen removal with different cleaning regimes, using their onsite test kits to illustrate the practical considerations.
