AOAC INTERNATIONAL, have announced that Professor Michelle Colgrave is the recipient of the 2024 Harvey W. Wiley Award, the Association’s highest honor for lifetime scientific achievement.
AOAC INTERNATIONAL Announces Professor Michelle Colgrave as the 2024 Wiley Award Winner
Professor Colgrave was nominated by Bio-Check’s Adrian Rogers because of her significant contributions to gluten analysis, improving our understanding through a proteomics approach. Adrian will present the award to Professor Colgrave at the AOAC Annual Meeting in Baltimore (23-28 August, 2024). Following presentation of the award on Monday 26th August, Adrian will also chair the Wiley Award Symposium on “Analytical Methods for the Detection of Novel Proteins and Allergens in Novel Foods” with invited guest speakers (that includes Professor Colgrave) and a Panel discussion at the end. If attending this in-person event, do attend and contribute to the discussion.
